I have recently started playing with much better players than I have in the past, including state champions. I have always been a pure power player with a strong attack and defensive skills against opponents with similar strong, but non tournament championship play. But when my opponents are higher level players who mix power and finesse with exceptional spin, particularly on serves, I was no match. The Angel Strike has provided me the ability not only to effectively return expert tournament player serves, but serve to maintain control of the point following return. With my other paddles (I have played with several blade and rubber combinations) my serves were speed and placement only with minimal spin and were returned to give my opponent an immediate advantage on points where I should be maintaining control. Although I have sacrificed some pace on the ball, all other benefits far outweigh that. Particularly at 68 where finesse, placement and spin have become more important than power as that has decreased with age.

Very Fast. It took me a little time to learn how to handle, but once I paired it with the appropriate rubber it became my favorite paddle ever.

This was my very first paddle I purchased after playing at work.
I always enjoyed the idea of return any type of hit So i went with a "Defensive" paddle. I was slightly skeptical about the ratings and how they describe each paddle but this paddle feels heavy in a way, from what i see its a middle weight paddle, at 85 grams. It does have the rebound on back hands that is awesome, And i love guarding with back hands. From what i can tell though the description and ratings did match.

Been playing for years on and off for 20 years More recently since we have table at work Playing everyday for 15 minutes work break! I’ve used three different Amazon paddles and one Coles over last three years but this is certainly the best Spin and control are great started using yesterday with only four games in so I’m still learning what it can do-Can’t wait to use it again today Already thinking about my next paddle I’m 63YO don’t move so quickly but have a great backhand that can snap I stay pretty close to the table don’t really pay attention to the score just love to hit that ball wish breaks weren’t so short at work Thanks for putting such a great paddle together for me!

This is a newer brand I have been trying lately. I am a bit of an equipment junkie. I have been really happy with what this company has dished out so far. This blade is carbon and fairly quick (I have played with faster) but it still holds its control very well. I can still hit some monster loops and has a pretty good touch.

I used Autopilot for my backhand, spin mystic for my forehand, and an angel strike blade. So far it is an incredible paddle.
